Frequently Asked Questions:
Round Tablecloth Hire:
What size tablecloth do I need for my round tables?
We supply premium 300 cm (3 metre) round tablecloths, which provide an elegant, full-drop finish on standard banquet tables. How the cloth sits depends on the diameter of your tables:
| Table Diameter | Tablecloth Size | Floor Drop / Coverage |
| 1.5m (5ft) Round Table | 300 cm | Full Floor Drop: The fabric falls generously all the way to the ground from all sides. |
| 1.8m (6ft) Round Table | 300 cm | Just Touching: The drop provides a tailored, clean look that just touches the floor. |
How can I add extra flair or texture to my round table styling?
For an elevated, layered look, we recommend adding a table topper over your round tablecloth! You can style this in two popular ways:
-
Monochromatic Elegance: Use a topper in the same colour as the base cloth to add depth, texture, and a formal, voluminous drape.
-
Contrasting Impact: Choose a different colour topper to introduce a secondary theme colour, create visual contrast, or make your centerpieces pop.
Are washing and cleaning included in the hire fee?
Yes! Standard commercial washing and ironing are fully included in your hire price. You do not need to wash or dry-clean the linen after your event—simply shake off any loose food or debris and return the cloths in their designated hire bags.
What happens if a tablecloth is damaged or heavily stained?
While standard food and beverage cleaning is covered in our hire fee, permanent damage or irreversible staining is not covered. An additional replacement or specialized restoration fee will apply for:
-
Burns from candles, sparklers, or cigarettes
-
Rips, tears, or snagged threads
-
Permanent stains from wax, ink, dye, heavy grease, or chemical spills
-
Mold or mildew caused by packing cloths away while wet
Styling & Care Tip: If you are using candles on your tables, we strongly recommend using drip trays or enclosed candle holders (like hurricane sleeves or votives) to prevent wax from dripping onto the linen and causing permanent damage.
